Dragoons!
It's a busy time this week as our Anniversary roles ever so close. This time next week, we shall be celebrating four years of foundation, and there will be some things that will be happening that will hopefully interest you, the member-base. The reason why we have these awards and focus on these events is because we like to award and remember those who have done good for us. Some people may seem this perculiar outside of the guild that we award Player of the Months, or that we have a Hall of Fame, but I always say what harm does it do to the individual awarded? Everyone has been happy, or at least known that they are appreciated, welcomed, and respected in the guild.
Looking back over the week, personally it was very interesting to explore the level 80 content. From Heroics to downing Thrall, it is alot different than I originally thought. In some ways I like the idea of Heroics being a good stepping stone, learning some basic tactics, and learning about what is required in the more difficult dungeons. What has slightly annoyed me however, is I am in the 4k GS range, and a little more, so I can consider trying out for some raids. However I find myself removed for whatever reason for my particular gear score. I am little worried about how I will get my GS, but of course, we have a good strong guild that is maturing very nicely and it shouldn't be long until we don't have to worry about GS obssessed players. Of course, I understand that I cannot expect to get into ICC, but if I can do something, why should a player be excluded?
Apart from learning the politics and expectations, I have enjoyed my first week as a level 80, and I have especially enjoyed running heroics with other Dragoons, particularly Chris, Arnie, and Fade, who I have spent most of my time this week with.
Don't forget Dragoons, PvP tonight as well as dueling night!
