This is mine:-
1) GQubed
Without a doubt the biggest influence upon me was GQ. GQ and me spend hours, days, months, years duelling against each other. In that time I learnt how to think, move, and perfect my technique. It's probably duelling him that trully made the duelling culture so effective in the Dragoons which made us so successful in MxO.
2) RazuacheV2
Without a doubt and possibly for the same reasons, Raz. Raz was the best bar me, and taught by me personally. I have never had to adapt so much to defeat him, and like GQ we spent many hours duelling. Quite often it was Me vs Raz in tournament play that fuelled a very competitive, healthy rivalry.
3) D00mninja
Although we didn't duel very much, he would be number 3. D00m was the first to show me up, and make me look shit when I first got into duelling. It was learning from these embarrasing moments that I learnt to control the pressure of 'pride duels', and I gained the qualities to become good at duelling.
4) Iappetus
Iappetus affected my PvP leadership. Watching him lead IP Conflict set the foundations for how I would lead the Dragoons in PvP. I remember watching how he fought, the no jump attitude, the stand and fight attitude that he had I likened too. Once upon a time, I promised him we made the most powerful rival he ever fought. We did it, but by the time IP were gone.
5) Cunts that pissed me off
Nothing has made me want to win more than people I didn't care for! It is the idiots, that made me desire to kill them so bad that made me try, and push so hard for that win!
What's yours?
